Default Damn SLP tips

I've had my SLP's for about 8 months now and can't seem to get all of the black stuff from the tips off. They look insane when their clean but when they are dirty they look like crap. Has anybody had any luck with finding anything that takes it off pretty easy? any suggestions help.

Chrome polish maybe......I havent had that happen with mine......but I baby my car and wash it every week and wipe the tips down while i'm at it.......I've heard Meguiars All Metal Polish works pretty well on tips.

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. If you leave it for too long, it seems impossible to scrub off no matter what. BUt this is what I used, and the black wiped off SOOO easily, you wouldn't even believe it. I got mine at advanced auto parts and I'm sure can be found at pepboys, autozone, etc

I use Mothers chrome polish on mine. Makes them look like new!

I use Mother's Aluminum polish on mine... its the white paste in the little can. Looks awesome when I'm done.
