i bet you will have fun with that ammo! I have a .45 but have also been thinking about getting a .40 or a 9mm. We have a hard time getting .45 ammo out here so i dont go shooting as offten as i like with it.

Ever consider a .22lr conversion kit for your .45? I have one for one of my 1911's. They tend to suffer from some minor reliability problems but are very accurate and cheaper than a new gun. Ammo is dirt cheap for .22's and it's a quick slide and mag change to go back to .45acp.
While 9mm is markedly cheaper than .45acp, it's still terribly expensive for blasting ammo.
