Pulled Over Three Times in a Weekend
Five times this month. Three times in a weekend. Two times in a night. Luckily I was the passenger.
This past Friday night I head out with buddy in his '02 Jeep Wrangler, black w/ hard top and black rims with big tires, dark tint, always muddy, really nice looking jeep. Were on our way to a club, haven't had anything to drink, except for our other buddy who was riding in the back. I was the designated driver that night, but wasn't driving till we left the club. We get pulled over for doing 55 in a 45. Really nice female officer, lets us off with a warning. Probably could have given a ticket but was probably just trying to find something.
Tonight, same buddy asks if I want to go work out. He lives not a mile away, so he picked me up in the jeep, he says we have to go to the store to pick up some headlights also, one of his went out the day before. We go and buy two headlights for the jeep. On the way to the gym, we get pulled over for the headlight being out. Again, really nice female officer, we get a warning, even show her the headlights we just bought. The gym was right across the street, we work out for about an hour fifteen minutes, all the while laughing our asses off about how often he gets pulled over. While we're leaving the gym, FOUR cop cars were in the adjacent convienence store parking lot. Considering my buddy has been pulled over four times already this month, were just waiting for one to follow us out of the parking lot, one does but it's the same one that had just pulled us over. Something you have to consider around Texarkana, there are a ton of different police departments around here, about seven off the top of my head. Were headed down the road, not a mile from where we left the gym, we pass a police car, he turns around gets up on us, pulls us over for the headlight. Nice guy, gives us a warning.
So now my buddy has been pulled over five times in the month of March, three of the times was this weekend while was riding, no tickets yet. Dude has some kind of luck.

No lie. That sounds bout like my weekend. Was at a buddy of mine's shop because another of our friend's fox body was up there getting worked on. All day for some reason the damn cops had been posting up in the far end of the parking lot n lighting folks up. Anyhow, i got ready to leave, pulled out, got on it a bit, then let off when i reached the speed limit n cruised on. Well, my phone rings, and it was my buddy telling me i should have blue lights behind me right about..... now. I did. :| ****** tried to tell me i was speeding. I argued. He ended up writing me warnings for speeding AND for my tinted tails. Not 20 mins later i got stopped AGAIN, this time for my exhaust. He actually got under my **** n looked n wrote me a warning for no cats. WTF cops these days are tooooooooooooooooo bored.

1) At least you just got warnings. It could've been worse.
2) When we do these types of things to our cars, we are risking tickets, plain and simple. They are just doing their jobs.
3) Not all cops are ********.

But .... but ..... I shouldnt have to cause I dont wanna. Plus I mean I only wanted to get on it a little in front of a buch of cops to show them how cool I am. Dont know why they would want to pull me over.

True. . . . . . . . . .
But most most of em are.
I hate cops, I don't respect the badge, or anything else about em. If I get pulled over for doing breaking a law, I can take my lumps and man up. If the cop shows me respect I will do the same for him. I never have and never will take **** from one of those ******* who acts like he is god all mighty himself.
/ ok end rant.

This may be the case in alot of places. I know for a fact that there are cops that love stopping cars for every little thing.
To my defense, I work in the ghetto along with many other co-workers. There are times where we have a few minutes to stop a car or two, but most of the time we are in the ghetto pulling crack, guns, and any other contraband you can think of, off of these street thugs. White, black, hispanic, they're all the same around here. On January 29th of this year I had my both of my ankle bones on my right leg (fibula and tiba) broken in 5 places. Surgery. A plate and 9 screws later im just now starting to drive again, still in therapy, still cant walk right, still need help with little things that people take for granted. All over a crack pipe that someone decided to shove in their mouth in attempts to conceal. As soon as I approached him the fight was on. But hey **** happens. **** it. Ill be back in a few months chasing crackheads, robbers, and rapists at 3 in the morning while most of the city sleeps.
Again...im not arguing the fact that there are some really bored cops out there.... some ********....some not.....but not all of em' are that lucky

******** come in all kinds of uniforms and they come in regular clothes, too.
That's because you're a bad-***. You should have told them to just chop your leg off at the knee, give you an iron one, and you could take it off and beat people with it!

I guess you missed the part where we went and bought headlights, and then got pulled over coming from the store where we bought the headlights. If your suggesting we should have changed the headlight out in the parking lot directly after buying the headlights in 37degrees at night, **** that. It's not my jeep. He replaced the light today. I mean ****, the light was out for less than 48 hours.

Theres both good and bad, I have a few friends that are cops, and they are good guys, even some officers i dont know i have met are pretty nice. but there are those ******** out there. just like with everything else.

The second officer, said that "they don't even write tickets for broken headlights." I don't know if he was talking about himself, the department he worked for, or the actual law of Texas. But yeah, not good to drive without a light. Living in Arkansas, I see people with broken lights all the time and it pisses me off to no end. They don't have yearly vehicle inspections, so unless ticketed for it, they are not likely to fix it.
