awesome!!!! nice story man! That's how it used to be in the old days, the one who wins goes free, and the loser gets the ticket.

That was a retarded story. You don't deserve to have your license.

I don't get how the story is really "retarded"

Are you saying you never raced someone froma light in your life?
Yeah street racing is a risk, but I think we've all done it in our cars.

but the new SRT-4 is nothing to mess with, definetly crushes a stock GT.

mod the SRT 4 only gets quicker. those cars are impressive

cheap to mod too. you can get a stage 3 upgrade for 3 k and push well over 300 hp. and in that lil thing. it will fly.

Oh no, I have definitely raced people from a stoplight before, but did you read the whole thing? It sounds like a 16 year old kid who just got his license and makes a post about him outrunning a cop. Give me a break.

And to reply to you...

I was 16 8 years ago. so no, it is not no 16 year old posting how he outran the cop. And I have had my LIC SINCE i was 16...so I have alot of driving experience. U cant really say I outRAN a cop..the cop was behind us both..and the SRT immedialty stopped...and the cop decided to pull him over I guess....HE COULD OF PULLED ME OVER FOR NOT STOPPING AT ALL, But its obviously he wanted the stang to be let go.

Sorry If you think im just some retard "Little" 16 year old posting how I raced a SRT 4. BUt thats what Forums are for...to talk about your experiences with your stang. sorry damn. now take ya grumpy azz to another forum where they talk about absolutley nothing

He even posts that was a dumb move, he didnt run from the cop the other guy simply pulled over and the cop cant catch 2 at once. he got lucky

if a cop found me doing 120 ona highway i'd know i d prolly out run him already get off on the next exit hopefully before he catches up and liek hide lol.

However if he did catch up in time... I'd pull over and give away my license. lol

Street racing has no place and should not be discussed on the forums. But I really did not think that his story constituted street racing. We have all gone too fast. We have all pushed it a bit with a car next to us. I think discussions like this are fine...it's part of the sport and long as it is not promoting street racing or a particular street racing event these posts are fine with me. But, I don't make the rules.

I think the "how fast have you gone" posts are pushing it and for the sake of MT and drivers everywhere we should all watch some of the things we say, and more importantly the things we do. MT does not need to be sued because someone gets in an accident and somehow these forums are credited in some way.

I think that would be just dumb if someone tried to sue a INTERNET forum cause they were in a accident. I totally agree with #1Mustang Tuning Customer though slightly. He does have a point...but for someone to sue a website thats just wierd.....ALTHOUGH Mcdonalds was sued because they made people FAT...but of coarse Mcdonalds won that one..

Ok Ok Ok...I want everyone to go jump Off a bridge now...(are u gonna actually do that cause someone on the net said so??) I believe its NO ONES fault but yours if your in a accident.

Oh and ya'll don't have to worry about ME posting threads on here anymore about street racing, cause like I said I dont street race,..it was just that 1 occasion. .................

V8, I am pretty sure it is illegal to talk about illegal activities that try to insite people to do illegal things. Personal responsibility is a great concept but we also have some responsibility for things we say and type.

Many sites do not allow discussions of "street racing" or near street racing activities such as the Modular Depot. A little more than a year ago, some kid almost killed himself who used to post on www.mustangworks.com (I think that was the site) and the kids mother wanted to see what he was reading online and found posts about seeing how fast the car would go etc... The Mother actually posted on the board and blasted everyone...it got ugly. I don't know if there was litigation but it certainly made some guys feel uncomfortable.

As I said earlier in this thread, I really did not see anything wrong with your post. You never admmitted to breaking the law, only that you were in second gear at WOT.

You're not 16? You sure type like you are.

We've all street raced at one time or another, but anyone responsible enough to own these cars has hopefully gotten past the point of thinking its cool.

Out here, they now crush your car for street racing on the FIRST OFFENSE. Thats enough to keep me from even thinking of it.

Spend 15 bucks, go to the track, and get proof to back up your claims.

This "one occasion" is no better than doing it every day. It only takes one race to t-bone that minivan full of "special" children. Running from the cop was even stupider. You can bet your *** it wont happen again.

Young or not, it's fun. cool to some lame to others.

Some of us enjoy the edge, to some it's the last pure place in a state of mind to be. If said person takes a few down with him, that's life. we have no control of fate.

Yes we know it's dumb but we always do it

Never push to tha max save it for the tracks as I say but mild off the line races at lights on highways don't bother me, really arn't that dangerous. unless one of the cars ran into the other one, god knows why, if one caught a flat that made him crash it wasn't because they were racing... so whatever.

Life is dumb.
