yeah its not so much the car itself its more of the horrible ride.......the lack of leg room for friends and the exhaust i have is crazy loud so when ever i leave my gf's apartment early in the morning i feel bad....and the fact that tonight we are going to get freezing rain followed by snow here in indianapolis....it means i will be car pooling to work and the stang will sit in the car port.....

and my favorite time was when i got the car back from the ford dealer when i was rear ended....she looked so pretty....and a side note....the only thing i really hated about driving her car was she does not have tinted windows.....i felt like i was on display....

I still love driving my car. Sometimes when I'm just driving on the streets I'll turn my radio down so I can hear just how loud the car is, plus the blow off valve sound never gets old. If I want a little change of scenery, I'll drive the Highlander to the store or something. That rides nice and smooth, but seems like whenever I drive it, I'll see some car that would potentially race and I wish I was in the stang.

Since I don't drive my '05 but maybe once or twice a month, I really miss it. When I finally do get to drive it, it's almost like therapy... instant stress relief. Whenever I pull into my neighborhood to hibernate the car for another few weeks, it makes me sad. I'm like "man, that was over so fast. I could drive this bitch to California and back."

I've never driven a car like Spooky; where the attractiveness of the car is proportionate to how fun it is to drive. I don't even have to speed and it is still fun. Hell, even my 4 cylinder is fun and it is slow.

Spooky is my only financial debt. I hate the payments, but everytime I drive it I can't help but feel like it is worth it. I have something beautiful to show for it.

I'm getting so sick of mine.

It's in the shop for the thrid time in two months for problems that never seem to end.

It's loud, bumpy, and irritating to drive in the cold weather we have now.

So ready to sell it.

I would love a Black '93 Cobra with an F150 or a Bronco as a DD, personally. But I still love the Mach...even though my payments make my wallet flat and I haven't driven it in over a week.

I think its human nature to get tired or bored with "something". If you like PB&J and you eat them everyday and pretty soon they will get old and you want something different. Cars are like anything else but you cant if its your DD. I'm like Valerie when I drive mine because its not my DD I enjoy the hell out of it. I would not want to drive mine everyday for no amount of money because it aint the greatest of ride and the noise.

The only concern is that if you sell your car and get something else, how long will it be before you get tired of it? Good Luck

Yep. Exactly.

I don't mind the ride or the 'noise'. I think my '05 makes an awesome noise. I don't mind exhaust drone or anything.

I'm lucky because no matter which car of mine I drive, I'm always driving a Mustang.

Me either. Why get exhaust if later on you're going to complain the car is loud. My car is paid off. When I decide to get a new car, I'll still have the stang. One of these days it will have a fully built engine and blown.

I always told myself that I was never going to get rid of my stang because parts for it were so cheap. My dad bought it with less than 10 miles on it and I was at almost 150k and the car had never had a single issue apart from general maintanence type stuff. I knew that if the engine popped I could get an new engine and tranny for under 1500. I had already upgraded to the 8.8 and if I wanted in the future I could have gone with f/i or a v8 swap.

Then I decided that all the good luck I had been having would probably end eventually and the car would eventually cost me money and time so I said **** it I'll buy a 2011 GT when they are a few years old

I enjoy the noise from the exhaust and the rougher ride from upgrades. Lets say your hobby is building computers and you deceide to build them as a job, you now take your hobby and made it a job and for the most part people hate thier jobs. My car is my hobby and I love it but not as a DD.

I made that coment awhile back (an 8-71 hung out of the hood) an if I live long enough, it will happen.

A blower like that sticking out of the hood would add 100 pts, to the fun factor. At the same time adding to the fear factor for anyone wanting to try you at a light.. LOL. When I get rich I'm gonna be peering over a blower hood ornament, no matter what Make or Model.. But you don't see many unless they are classic cars from the late 60's early 70's or most 57 chevy's you see on the road.. Hell why not make it a 10-71 and ensure total dominance on the street..

I'm a nervous wreck when I'm driving my mustang. I tell myself I wonder whats gonna let go after I hit the go fast peddle. I'm getting tired of shredding belts fouling plugs and not getting an 11 second passes at the track. I dont drive my mustang everyday mostly because it eats a belt after I do something dumb. The car creeks and moans...exhaust hits the axle on pot holes or parking lot bumps. the exhaust is loud..the steering is off, LOL. I think my inner tie rods need to be replaced will prolly do ball joints at the same time. the list continues...F that car...just going to have fun with it at the track next year.

I knew the car would give me issues so I bought another car to maintain my point A to point B needs...wasnt the best purchase for me to make at this time but will pay off in the long run. 6 year warranty.

I think it's time for you to go with an 8 rib setup. Maybe you won't be throwing as many belts. Im mostly likely at the point where I need to replace the ball joints as well. I think I'm just going to slap on the cobra a-arms.

Yeah, after almost 2 years of ownership of my '05, sooooooooo not tired of it. I drove it to work this morning and it felt good to be up 200+ horsepower and 4 cylinders. Goddamn, I miss driving that car. It is so fun.

After almost 6 years of ownership of my '93, I'm not tired of it, either. It is slow, but it has a lot of sentimental value to me.

January 17th will be the anniversary of me having my Mustangs. I got them on the exact same day, except 4 years apart... and I didn't do that on purpose. Didn't even realize it until my dad went to file my paperwork away in my 'car' folder and saw the title to my '93. I think that's awesome.

You really won't be tired once you get that turbo on there.

Its not a grip problem its my tensioner. When I get on it hard and let it decel to fast the tensioner will hit its limits and lose tension on the belt. when this happens my belt jumps a rib on the power steering pump.

I really need a 99 (3-bolt) timing cover.
