Getting tired of the Mustang

Getting tired of the Mustang
Not sure what has happened, but I am just really blah about the Mustang lately. I don't know why? I don't look forward to driving it..I don't look forward to cleaning it..I go a long time without giving it a bath these days. The wheels will get nasty so I have to spend an hour or 2 polishing them so they look like they used to. I haven't cleaning the inside in about a month 1/2. There is sand from the beach all in it..
I just don't know. I walk outside and just don't see the same car I saw a few months ago. I would do mods, but I am getting ready to buy a house in a couple of months so that would not be responsible of me?
Does this happen to you? What do you do when it does?

well since yer down in FL...
if it was a vert you would NEVER get tired of it...
I think you need to buy a super charger... or... look into maybe buying a newer better mustang of some sort...
I think as ya get older ya tend to not care for cars as much as ya used to...
unless you are in some scenario where you deal with different cars on a daily basis like foose etc
EDIT^
or make it a weekend driver... buy a daily driver... only take it to shows etc... ya'll appreciate it alot more if you drive a honda 5-6 days a week

I'll take it off yer hands if you're sick of it, gladly. LOL
But in all seriousness, it's probably just a phase... I hate my mustang, because right now it's a stock POS with the ugliest wheels in the world on it. But then I sit and imagine how it will lookk once I get some work on it and how much hapier I'll be to drive it.
What you could do - see if you have a friend with a civic or something, ask him to drive it. And once you're done, you will feel a lot better because you have a Mustang.

i was the same way. i was drivein my car everywhere, to school, work, ect... but now i drive her maybe once a week and i cant get enough of her. if you sell her and get another car, sure you might like that car for maybe a year, then youll be back in the same boat your in now. i say just try not to drive your stang that much. youll see how much you miss it then

Dude I've gone through the exact same phase several times. I just put so much into it, keeping it clean, showing it off every saturday night, modding, troubleshooting...then you just get burnt out. It's more than just a car man, it's a hobby. Just like with every other hobby in the world, you need a break from it every now and again. About once a year I find myself not washing her or cleaning her up like I should. Then I clean it up real good and get all kinds of compliments and envious looks, then it's all good again.

Donnie hell,I go through the same thing every now and then.I really considered getting another truck Monday untill I was at the dealership looking at new trucks and everyone kept asking about my Stang and I realized that I would be crazy to get rid of it now after all the time and money I have put into it.
I looked at alot of VERY nice truck's.Was looking at a King Ranch edition 4x4 that was soooo sweet but once I looked back at the Stang I knew I could'nt do it.
