THIS SCARES ME. i just hope he wasn't Islamic. if you know what i mean.
some of you know that i am in the Army. i take this one personally. i hope he had some reason to do the shooting besides "religion related"

yes, that is what is on my mind. it has scared me.

EDIT: i am watching fox news, they said he was a convert to Islam... ****.

Yea because of that they put my school on lockdown in case he got into gatesville. Im only 15 minutes away from fort hood too. The surprising part was a Major rank soldier was one of the shooters.

Well, Looks like we need to start giving all the middle eastern folks over here the boot, whether they were born here or not. It really sucks, though, for all the middle eastern folks over here that there are douchebags like this Hassan guy tarnishing their image more and more, like it wasnt bad enough already.

Well, to be sure, there isn't a religion in the world that hasn't tarnished its image with violence. The Islamic world will obviously be as outraged as all of us with this lunatic. I just can't believe how many men he was able to down, for being a psychiatrist.

I'm glad he did this out of anger and fear of the war, not religion. It's so sad though -- there isn't enough justice that could be given on this earth to a madman like Nidal...

I wouldn't jump directly to the conclusion that the mere fact that he is/was Islamic had anything to do with the tragic actions of today. That's just racist.

One of my old highschool friends is stationed somewhere on Ft. Hood, so when I heard the news this morning I was put back. Not just because of that, of course, but the scale of this massacre among many other things. I don't know if there is any sufficient punishment next to death that would rightfully pay for the lives that were stolen from the Earth today, but if there is I want him to endure it. Nothing like this should ever happen, and should never have had the possibility of happening. So, I guess if anyone can draw positives from today -- it is in the fact that now we know another weakness we have, so the chances of this or a similar act of violence in the same manner will be significantly lowered.

RIP to all of those that were killed today. Such a tragedy. So sad.

yeah i mean even if he wasnt a terrorist or radical islamic, it just looks bad that his name was hassan whatever but its ironic that he was a psychiatrist that flipped out, i thought they were supposed to know when people needed help i guess that doesnt include themselves god bless the families of the fallen

These last few days of this week has been bad news everywhere. A very prominent real estate guy here killed his wife and 2 teenage children, then killed himself. He was only having an issue with one high dollar piece of property, But it lead him to do That? WTF. Why kill the ones you love the most, Just kill yourself and let your loved ones get over you. Don't murder them cause you think they will be too devestated to live on. Makes no ******* sense..
