I finally put on some mods on my bullitt today i installed the mac prochamber and magnaflow catback system but the tailpipe on the catback system wouldn't fit over the pipe entirely so it's hangin out and inch and a half past my bumper and i put in my xcal2 tune. I've gotta say though i didn't notice a huge performance gain just slightly faster acceleration. For around $1100 i was expecting to feel a larger gain. I'm a lil pissed. Can't wait to dyno it and compare to my stock baseline of 231 HP. I'll be on the phone tomorrow with magnaflow getting a new tailpipe that fits.

dont forget about the tuner. that brings the cost to where it should be. just save the rest of your money and get supercharged. then you will get what your looking for. some real seat of the pants feel.

 

I had the same problem with my magnaflow. Was it on the passenger side?

Bet it sounds awesome man. I love mine. Sorry you werent all that impressed, but put some 4.10s in it and youll be smiling again. You lost some torque from the prochamber, I know from experience, so dont be too down. Oh, and youll drive without your radio on for about a month...lol

Mods are always fun. I just installed my sct xcal 2 not too long ago and my car pulls really hard. I had mine mail order tuned at modular depot.

 

Yea the passenger side tailpipe will not go on all the way and the rod that holds it up fell off when i was driving last night. What can i do!!!!???? I don't want to leave it hangin way out past the bumper. Also where can i get a new connecting rod?

 

I would get ahold of magnaflow and tell them that the tailpipe doesnt fit right and because of that you lost hanger. Im sure they will send you a replacement. One of the ends to my SLP pipes got a bit bent from shipping but I just got a hammer and bent it round again,good to go. How bad is yours?

 

Id call magnaflow and tell them what happened. That sucks man, Id be pissed. I guess by connecting rod you mean the hanger? You could take it to an exhaust shop and have em re weld it, but if it were me, Id call and tell magnaflow to send me a new catback.
