Default First five performance mods?

Hi I was wondering what the first five performance mods should be and in what order?

Do you plan to stay N/A? If so this is the route that I would take

Cat Back
Midpipe
Gears
Suspension
Sticky tires

And lots of practice driving, that will make or break you.

EXACTLY. But before those should be a new shifter. The stock one sucks the big one. A new shifter like the Steeda Triax will make the car so fun to drive, then get A PROCHAMBER! You wont be sorry....

Exhaust
cold air intake
gears
shifter
suspension

I like the Pro5.0 shifter. It's got a REALLY short throw. DynoMax and Flowmaster both make good cat-back systems.

1.shifter if its stick, or shift kit if its auto.
2.mid pipe (off road h-pipe owns you)
3.upper and lower control arms
4.t/a (timing adjuster)
5. drag radials

with these mods you should run 13.8's or a bit faster.
assuming you have a 99+ pi headed car. if you dont have a pi headed car get a nitrous kit. you will go fast for 500 bucks done deal.

If your car is a five speed:
shifter
4.10's
X pipe w/cats & catback
upper and lower control arms
Drag radials
this will get you to low 13's with practice.
There is one more for the 5 speed guy's ( 31 spline axels)

If you have an automatic
Torque converter 3500 - 3800 precision industries
4.10's - 4.30's
upper and lower control arms
Drag radials
same exhaust as above
and a good tune or you won't shift correctly.
This will get you to low to mid 13's.

ok well i am getting an 02 gt with 27k miles on it and these are my plans. they kinda go hand in hand with what you all are saying. i am getting cat-back with a mac x pipe(is this the same as the prochamber?), a steeda tri ax shifter, 4.10 gears(should i get the bearing kit and installation kit o rno?) and then front and rear control arms (is it ok not to get steeda and i guess its a generic brand? reference to mustangtuning.com retail site). thanks guys all your info is needed and a big help!

well I don't know that much about a rearend change but I think you should get the bearingkit while you're in there. Also X-pipe and prochamber are kind of the same there is just a box around where the pipe meet. Prochamber all the way though. As far as the suspension goes you get what you pay for no name brand???? Steed proven many times over but it's not my cash you'll have to let us know what you run

All I know is i was to do it all over again. I would do 4.10 gears and tri-ax shifter one of the first things. Then mide pipe and exhaust. All of the mods listed above are GREAT though!
