Well...here's what I have done so far....and some plans for the future (maybe)

First I like to photoshop or MSPaint the item on my car so I can get a rough idea on how it will look with my color scheme...mine is Screaming yellow, so black accents it very well...
I like small changes you really have to look for than one's that slap you across the face...

#1. Mach 1 grille delete kit

#2. Tint the windows (darker the better IMO)

#3. Fill in the MUSTANG in rear bumper...depending on color of your car

#4. decal over ford emblem...I have the Yellow Mustang Registry badge

#5. Stripes (personal opinion on this...I like the side strips...some like hood stripes

#6. valve stem cap covers...nothing over the top IMO (mine are all black)

#7. Mach 1 chin spoiler (backordered but on its way!)

#8. Smaller antenna (future plan)

#9. Rear honeycomb black panel from 35th Anniv (works well on certain colors..I'm on the fence with my color and this mod)

#10. Gas cap..(REALLY on the fence on this one too....some cars look great with this mod..others not so much.....)

---------------------
Other mods that people do that are "ok"...but I don't know if I would do this to my yellow car...

#11. Roush style "black out" of lower rear bumper

#12. Hood scoop/foglights if you have a V6! (a must)

#13. Lowering springs....depends on where you live...a BIG no in KC MO!

#14. Body kit....lots of work installing, painting, etc, etc...not worth it unless you have the real thing IMO...I used to have a Roush, and hated all of the fake cars around...

#15. Black or cleared out headlights...looks great, but NOT as good as OEM quality! They will fog and leak 100X easier than stock....

That should do it!

xcler8, you have a nice ride! Gotta love the yellow. Thumbs up!

I think that #1 the mach 1 grille delete is the best looking appearance mod.

I would say the grille delete would be the first. I am not a fan of the stripe on the sides myself. I would get some more "go" before I got too much "show" also, but that is IMO. And xcler8, I love your car

Another mod to think about is to delete the rear wing. I deleted mine and I love it
