Not when alcohol is involved...remember alcohol impairs your judgment and that would of been grounds for UCMJ punishment. If this guy got hurt out of fighting that would just be icing on the cake.

AF guy i wouldnt talk about drinking and driving on the internet...there are those "johnny Air Force" types that will turn you in for this.

i have a small story to share. 4 days before i left germany a good friend of mine and i were at a bar. we were at this little shitty place around 5 in the morning and for no rhyme or reason this guy just walked up to my friend and swung at him. before i knew what was going on my friend had this guy and the ground and was doing work. i yanked him off. i started to bitch him out because if the cops had showed up i would of been fucked and not of been able to leave germany. no cops, we went home without any more problems. well, my friend likes to talk and by monday afternoon i was in my chiefs office explaining my situation and how i neglected my duty to report off base incidents especially violent ones. i told him i didnt see how it started but my friend took a hit in the face and then the guy who assualted him got fucked up. so, since my friend decided to talk about his little MMA bullshit he is sitting one stripe less on his shoulders and lost a lot of respect from his superiors.

we are every day people but we have to live by rules and we wear the uniform even when we are not on duty. these rules were established because the military has to maintain its prestigious image.

just picture this. if you got into a fight cops showed up and arressted you. you sir, could have been busted for drunk and disorderly conduct, assualt, drinking and driving, possible open container and ended up with some nasty fines and jail time. thats just the civilian side. sure, the air force could ask to take juristiciton of the case. which would be better i dont know. i would be willing to bet that you would be out of a job or sitting at E-2 or less and coded for not being able to re-enlist for a year or more.

i always walk out of fights or situations that could lead to a fight. my money is just more important to me. call me a ***** if you want but y'all aint fillin my bank account enough as it is.

you probably shouldn't drink and drive, by the way.

Thats what I'm saying. Call me a *****, But I enjoy my money and freedom.

As for drinking and driving. I started drinking after I got there. When he hot me it was sorta like a quick sobering up. Its complicated to explain but I got there, started drinking alone...BORING! After a while guy showed up hit me I took off two blocks down. Then called friends. Its all w/e now though.

And yes owning a Mustang does involve having a lot of haters. Its amusing to say the least.
