I was sitting in the car chilling at Target waiting for some friends to show up. And this kid from a diesel truck comes over asks if I was mocking him earlier when he was talking to his friends. I said no I don't even know you.

He then proceeds to grab me by the collar and punch me in the face.

I took off as to avoid any further confrontation. I thought about it though....I said **** THIS! I had about 10 or so guys show up at the parking lot with me maybe 10 minutes later....he apologized after my friends talked to him...and we drank together.

All in all....not a completely shitty night.

I was already drunk when it happened. And I was by myself. There was 10 of them. So I got about 10 of us. I started to walk over to them when everybody was there. My friends held me back and went to talk to them.

Remember I'm in the AF getting into a fight would not be good for me so I'm actually kinda glad they did.

But 15 yrs of Ju-Jitsu wouldn't have ended well for him either!

 

I'm kinda torn on this one... on one hand, I'm just a good ole southern boy, you punch me in the face and its on!!! I don't care how drunk i am, how many of them or how few of "us" there are. I woulda smashed that ******, or gotten the hell beaten outta me tryin.

Onnnnnnnnnnnnnn the OTHER hand, i understand the whole being in the military thing. I was in the military as well, but the difference b/w me and you is... My division officer woulda kicked my *** for NOT fighting back. LOL To each his own, but drinkin with someone who just punked me out by hitting me? Ummmm.... lemme think bout that one for a minute. Sometimes drunk people just get angry for no reason and they take everything personally. Me I'm a happy drunk.

Now I don't know how other people play but my rule is if somebody starts a fight with one of my friends (perceived slights don't count) I have their back even if we are going to get our asses handed to us.

On the other hand if one of my buddies picks a fight with somebody (Punching them because of a perceived slight) it's their problem unless the other guy has won the fight and is beating the **** out of him for no reason (or tries somthing dirty)

If one of my firends picks on you and you keep the fight standing for the most part I see no need to step in.

plus if you knock a guy down after he picks a fight and you say "get up bitch" you win he's your bitch

Yeah the supervisors here are all about no fighting...if I would have I would have been toast. I'm already on thin ice with them as it is...

i spend 4 years in the AF. First shirts have a tendancy to **** your life up if they found out you have been fighting.

I was in the Army myself and even if you DID get busted for fighting they would have a hard time punishing you for DEFENDING YOURSELF. That guy approached you and started the ****, I would be willing to bet you would have gotten off lightly for it.

 

It was a hit and run type deal. Cheap shot then some girl took him away. Though I probably could have gotten it a bit easier than if I would have started an all out brawl. But again...10 of them...one of me.

 

Oh, so he hit you and then you were left there Like, WTF we just got started? Becuase I can understand that better. I though he hit you and you ran off until your buddies got there.

 

Yeah that makes a LITTLE more sense, but all the same.
