Meh, I'm not too into Tron but atleast the trailer looks cool.

 

I liked the old one... this one looks way more badass though!

SWEET. I just hope it turns out to be a good movie.. I hate when sequels aren't as good as the original movie.

 

I have no idea what the story is behind this, never heard of it....looks pretty cool though.

When I first heard about it a few months ago it was called T2ON. Good to see they changed that terrible name.

The trailer does look pretty cool to me to. And they got a decent part of the original cast back which is cool too.

 

the original was about a programer that got his game stolen by a co-worker who got promoted a lot. the co-worker locked him out of the system and the programmer wanted to get evidence against the co-worker.

unfortunately, the programmer got zapped into his video game that was now corupted and "evil". he set out to distroy the corrupted parts of the video game and get the evidence. fairy tale ending. yada yada yada..


i just finished watching the original...if i had to see that in theaters, i would shoot myself, 8 bit sounds in a movie theater wouldnt be cool. lool

I'm stoked about this. Tron was one of the all time best (and 1st computer animated movies) of all time. Damm I love it when this happens.. I could watch the original Tron over and over again.. . Hope this one takes up where the 1st left off, seeing how Jeff Bridges is involved again.. he's the original " user"..

 

I guess I lived under a rock where tron was not around? lol.

I haven't played it since AP Comp Sci in high school but it's mad addicting AND the makers of this game are still patching/updating which means it must still be pretty d*mn popular.. especially after 2008's comicon trailer

 

Hard to tell from the trailer, but Jeff plays a badass bad guy. Just like in Iron Man. I'm betting he's a good guy though. And maybe they'll bring back Bruce Boxlietner too, and the babe (forgot her name).

 

Bruce is in the movie... hell half the original cast is. Can't f'ing wait. I had the Tron Solar Sailor video came for Collecovision console back in the 80's after I saw the flick. Even built an enclosed trailer from fibreglass with captains chairs and built in projector just to get the full immersion in Tron-world. The new one better not **** it up. After being a fan for like 25 years I don't know if I can take the disappointment, especially after what Hollywood did to Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy.

 

I dunno, i hate to be a stick in the mudd, i loved the old movie but for some reason this movie looks like it has "SUCK" written all over it.
