Default unf*ckin believable!

Ok, i literally did this just a few minutes ago. I installed my tune with the sct2, Its adjusted for 91, intake, exhaust, and medium shift point adjustment (auto). I went to a little straight away a few minutes from my house, turned the trac off and nailed it. Now I have realistic expectations about what mods give you and in now way am I claiming I gained 100000hp from this tune, but I'll put it this way, I used to think my 315's hooked. I rolled to about 10 mph and puncher her, The rear broke loose and it took off like it never has before, honestly, it scared me a little. I tried a 25-30 roll, same thing, busted the rears loose. Is my car just running hard today or did my shift point adjustment help this much? This is gonna hurt my tire budget.

Yeah, the newer tuners are much better. I had an old Hypertech programmer and when i adjusted my shift points i was chirping the tires like mad.

When you drive it nicely, the shifts are smooth but have a lot less lag in them. You can feel it shift but they are not harsh. Honestly I didn't think the tuner would do much, I just got it to adjust the speedo for gears. BTW: 4:10s go in on Wednesday!

I just hope I can hook it if I make it to the track this summer. No money for slicks

Yup. Seriously, if you have an auto, gears and a tuner is a must! The difference is really noticable. Ford programs the auto to shift much too softly from the factory.
