haha my little 4.3 will be doin some work too. Talked to SSM its a one month deal for ASSEMBLY. I don't need assembly my mechanics will bang it out fairly quicly.

The compression ratio will change for the nitrous shot. So it'll be 2 1/2 weeks or so.

Hoping my heads aren't really damaged

Cam will come..

Gears/posi/stall will be coming also

As well as shocks and struts

Oh..drag radials...yaaaa going to need those..

(and the dyno tune.)

Your automatic will be the next to go. Might as well do something about that.

Spike, how often do you spray?

My automatic is going to be examined while the engine is out of the car. #1

#2 any weak parts will be replaced

2500 stall is going into the car also.

We are estimating something like 250 rwhp n/a and i'll prolly throw a 100 shot at it, even though the bottom end will be able to handle more now.

Everything was ordered today. Wiseco Pistons, Scat Rods, Scat Crank, Comp Cam 218/224 VMP Tunes in the process (pre-dyno tunes) Stall will be researched today. Gears/Posi going in and are already at the shop. Shocks/Struts and other suspension mods being looked into currently as well by my mechanics. Quite a bit will be going into this car.

Also: my mechanics do work like this:

Sometimes I use it a lot and will kill two bottles a month and sometimes I barley use 1 bottle in 2-3 months. Just depends really what happens. Lets just say I have a good 30-40 bottles on nitrous through my motor most of which were on an untuned car (insert scared people who will cry about tunes here).

Yep. Everything except pay me. I'm not a mechanic, I'm an electrician. I won't work on my car and attempt to build a motor. Because failure to do it correctly, and out goes about 6 grand.

Set it up correctly, make sure you have the fuel to support the nitrous, always run high octane when on the bottle, and your motor will be fine on a 125 or less shot for a long time. Also don't ever spray in 5th gear as well. To much of a load on the motor.

That is mostly true. But its because I know that my kit is good and I have plenty of fuel and I know the motor can handle it so I do not worry about it. I swear its the people that take it easy on their cars and worry all the time are the ones who toss their motors.

No talking about you SnTBakosFinest I know you do work.

I always run 93 octane. Car is tuned for 93.

Are you running a focus pump? Bigger injectors? I think thats what you mean by enough fuel.

Thats because a s/c and nitrous won't mix very well unless you're changing compresion ect. Too much load on the motor probably too big of a shot for it also.

And yea Spike, I know you aren't talking about me, lol. Mine is one that simply blew due to hard use. This one will be very interesting.

Also: someone link me to the JMod I'll be buying one of those (completely forgot about that thing)

Only photos you need are the ones that show well to drill the hols in the separator plate, and where to pull the springs for the accumulator pistons. The rest is just taking the pan off and unbolting the valve body, which they do have pics to show what bolts need to come out, for that should you never of seen it off.

With a wet kit you do not upgrade the fuel injectors as the nitrous kit adds the fuel. I have a SVT focus pump upgrade in my car and always have clean fuel filters.
