I know it's not a mustang but still it's worth it.

here's a few pics we took this weekend of my boy's 1990 Turbo II rx7 converted into a 383ci Stroker. it dynoed out running really rich at 468rwhp/573ft/lbs trq. This thing is a beast on the street! loses traction at 90mph on the interstate with 275/40/17 radials stuffed in the back.

oh it is insane, sadly this friday it's going to see either a 150 or 200shot havent decied which one yet depending on the tire issue since we cant fit a big enough tire under her to keep traction. Sunday we ran it 1/8 mile launching it in 2nd gear and having 2.4-2.7 '60 times and it was still turning 7.80's without full throttle till 1/2 down the track. Everyone asked how big of a shot it was on then since it was scooting so quick 1/2 down!

 

whats the point of running nitrous if you cant even hook up NA?

 

The fact that the setup will already be on the car so that when we get a big enough tire on the car we can take it out and play right away instead of waiting. Plus it is intimidating to other when they see a car break s***y @ 90+ and still walk away from them.

 

i always wanted to do this with an rx-7........

 

My friend is gonna do this one day. He is going to use the later RX7 body style and a LS1. That is a damn cool swap.
