Unhappy Just sold my WRX

I didnt want to get rid of it but since my Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) and Overseas Housing Allowances were cut nearly 400 dollars in the past 3 monhts i had to make adjustments. I had a 2005 WRX with 60k miles on it and i only got 14k for it! nobody wanted to touch it at 15k not one single phone call. It was a fun car while it lasted i beat the **** out of it and took it to a few auto-X's and did some track runs at my local race track in hockenheim ring. I want to get another one but im going to have to wait till i figure out where i will be in the next 2 years...i plan on getting out of the military when my time is up and thats in 2010. so i need to get rid of all my debt now. so i decided to sell this car and i actually made 2500 bucks from the sale and on top of that i get 550 back in my pocket each month. my insurance and car note took alot of play money from me but the car got double the mileage as the mustang and its more reliable. since i got rid of my secured debt i can focus on my unsecured which is only 5k but i havent put a dent in that amount in about a year or more i plan on getting it down to my 10% range in march which is 950-1k. i will be debt free before i leave ramstein in june 2009 and i hope to have enough money to live off of for 6 months to a year before i get out in september 2010.

i know its risky right now to think about getting out since i have full benefits but im willing to take that gamble.

bye little guy. you'll be missed:

haha...it doesnt work like that. **** if it worked like that i think there would be a huge walk out, LOL. I cant just say i want to quit i have legal and contract obligations to fulfill and that obligation for me will end on or around july 2010!. my original contract was supposed to end april 1st, 2009 but i extended 18 months so i could come to germany for 3 years. So im obligated to finish this extension...

trust me if i had the option to give my two weeks i would but not until i got rid of all my debt. i also got a free associates degree out of the military and i havent even touched my GI bill.

That sucks man, Subaru makes really nice solid cars and is the only Japanese company I honestly think is worth anything. My mom only drives them and we have had a 99 Legacy GT,02 legacy GT, and now a Baja Turbo model. She loves them and all I ever do is when I go over to their house me and my dad change the oil in all there cars. Things are always running and fun to drive. Even the Baja is a fun corner carver. My only problem is how slow they are and what it costs to make any of them remotely fast.

Stupid cars don't put food on the table, pay for mortages, or pay for college. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

We all need to hope for the economy to improve.

Had to put my 010 on hold.

Just turned 20, trying to save up for 20% down on a house by the summer.

I really wanted the 2010, i even put down a deposit, but I realized whats more important.
