Default about the wrx sti

A friend of mine just stopped by with his new 2006 STI. I am not a big fan of these cars, but I will say it's a pretty nice car. Far from the average rice can I believe. Of all common imports, I would say these are the best. The interior was really nice with a beautiful display and it has the differential controls with auto or manual adjustability. He sold off his v6 stang(go figure) but took a hit for about 33 G's for this one! I'd rather have a Cobra he is still breaking it in, but i'll try to get a run or two out of 'em. Do you think I stand a chance w/ my mods? Im getting my gears in next week. Or should I hurry up and order my nitrous kit?

It will hand you your *** without gears, and probably still will then, because he has awd, and they are fast as crap.

yeah the sti/evo are bad *** cars. I wouldn't mind owning one if they wern't 30-35k. If i was going to shell out that kind of money....i think i'd go luxury import of some sort. Something like a C class benz.

Those things are way over-priced! I can't believe anyone on this planet would pay 33k for that car.

Or a cobra with a ported blower, pulley, tune, exhaust, and a shot of the cold stuff...

Then spray it is! Yeah that is way to much to pay for that car, I believe. It might be pretty fast, but it's still a grocery getter Good thing he is a ***** and doesn't want to try to blow my doors off right away Man, it was raining out here in California yesteday and he took me for spin and that car pulled pretty nice in the rain. How about a stock Cobra VS the awd stock sti?

Motortrend had an artical STi vs. Evo, and the one they tested was 32 grand and 0-60 in 4.5 secs with 300 hp. Basically the upgrades are some exterior mods and transmission changes gettin more hp to the road. along with a bigger intake and rear pressure. So as for now it's faster by .2th of a second in teh 0-60 and probably .3 in the 1/4 mile, that being said the newer Cobra is guna have an extra 60 horses from it's predecessor.

I love the cobra's, but for me, the smart thing to do would be to invest in a SC. 29,000.00 compared to about 5K I almost traded in my GT for a cobra awhile ago, but those dealerships like to rape people with financing. I could always sell my car private party
