get a really really good job. but honestly when it's all said and done, you can buy a GT mustang, build a forged motor and throw on a whipple 3.4 liter supercharger and run 30# of boost, and have more horsepower than the Super Snake, so really what's the point?

Super Snake is just a way to waste a bunch of money on something that you don't really need

 

not sure what they cost, but I'm assuming it will be more than the GT500....soooooo no thanks for me. I'd rather have a z06 than either the GT500 or Super Snake

Too rich for my blood. And for only 600 hp, I don't think it's worth it.

 

Its a chance to have a Mustang that not many other people have.

 

my 02 GT cost me $13,700. I have $5,000 in it right now.

when i get the car repainted, added the forged motor, blower, cosmetics, suspension and t-56...that will put about another $15,000 - $20,000 more in the car...so for $33,000 I can have a car that will smoke that stinking Super Snake.

$100,000? or $33,000? hmmmmm....lemme think.

it will look way better, considering the 05+ mustangs look like 74-78 Mustang II's. damn things are ugly (74-78/05+)

 

05+ mustangs look and were based of 69/70 mustangs

 

They still don't look appealing.

and for 100 grand, 90 grand for a used 06 z06 with low miles, 10 grand, little extra on it, smoking it hard.

OR

if you want looks

buy some old american muscle, rebuild that ****, and save about 30 grand.

 

they're still ugly, and they look more like 74-78 to me.

 

and if you think the super snake looks better. is it worth the extra 60,000 for the minor looks??

super snake is neat but if you really want a 750hp mustang you can get one cheaper than that true. It will NEVER "be" a super snake. There was only 1 original super snake ever made, it was made by shelby in 1967. It never saw a production line. Bummer huh.

Now then.. the S197 body was designed after several year models of the classic mustang not just 69/70 or Pinto-Stangs. More prominent in the inspirations for the new mustang are the 65 and 68 sports roof mach and shelby models. There was a little brought in from the big body cars with the deep C shaped bodyline down the doors but that's about the limit of the 70's influence.

 

this guy that lives down the street from me has a 06 GT500 after seeing that car i would not mind have the super snake.

you can get the super snake with 725hp by they way.

Oh I think 03-04 Cobras look better than most 05+'s. So i never said a new edge couldn't look better than an 05+.

what are you going to do visually to your car? I personally am not impressed with the 05+. Some look pretty good and the super snake looks pretty cool, but they still look way to big and heavy. All I have to say is Lanes old cobra. That thing was sexy and all it had was rims.

My ideal look for my car will be the black rims I have, the 03 cobra bumper which I have, and then someday I will have the 00 Cobra R hood and 03/04 cobra spoiler.

 

well it's getting an 03 Cobra Front Bumper, Stalker Ram Air Hood, the wing will either be a Roush wing or an 03 Cobra Wing (having trouble deciding). I was wanting to do 03 Cobra Sideskirts, but i'm still looking at other kinds trying to make a decision.

i don't want too much of any kind of mustang, my goal is to create my own mustang, using a little bit from each mustang. (hence my username: mixedbreed02gt).

so she already has a mach 1 grille, cobra wheels, bullitt sidescoops (currently off for repainting).

Next up is

03 Cobra Front Bumper
Stalker Ram Air Hood
Roush Wing (possibly...not sure yet).
Saleen Sideskirts (more than likely)
GT Mirrors (might try to get some 05 GT mirrors to fit)
Rear Bumper will stay stock

seats will be 03 Cobra. gettin ready to change the gauge cluster lights from green to blue.

after the suspension, interior, and cosmetics are done...she'll get a 550-650 hp forged motor with a blower, and a new t-56 transmission.

she's getting 3.73 rear gears after christmas.

she'll be a completely customized, tribute to all types of mustangs. and she will be all show, and a whole lot of go.

 

Yeah, Id pay 100,000 for the super snake.
It comes stock with 725hp. corvettes come with what...600?

And how many corvettes do you see a day? They're as common as sixer mustangs.....but that super snake...gonna be a rare thing to see.

Although the new corvette coming out is gonna be pretty B.A.

 

all you talk about is the stuff your GOING to get. until you actually have it your words are just that. words. really...if we all claimed the stuff we're eventually going to buy, we'd all have the sickest cars around. your car is slow and ugly as it sits. when you show me pics and mods then i'll respect your car.

I know how it is as I sounded like the boy who cried wolf so I just shut up with my friends and family. When the car is ready I will say lets go for a drive and let the Oh $hits start.

muscle mustangs and fast fords just tested this car(the 725hp super snake) and ran mid to high 10's in the 1/4 with massive wheelspin. I think Z06's run low 11's not sure about the ZR1
