Ok, I am 90% sure I want chrome rims. Silver would be too much like my current ones and black would not match at all, so that's why I'm going with chrome. The only question is....what design? In a few weeks, I will be getting new rims(finally no more base gt rims!!!!111oneonecatdogmouse11!!). So here I give to you, MT, what design of rims should I get? Also, keep in mind that they must be 17 inchers, so no saleen rims(*tear*).

I agree that fr500's are pretty badass, but on some cars, it might not look right. I want the rims thatll look best on my car. I guess I better do a few photoshops to see what it'd look like.

hellllllllll no! I LOVE them. I just searched everywhere and they just dont make them in 17 inch. I JUST boght these new tires, so I will absolutely NOT buy new 18 inchers just for some rims.

 

That sucks...I don't really like too many other 5 spokes like the CobraR rims...if I had to get some I would probably go with the 1995 Cobra rims.

How much are you looking to spend per wheel?

 

Price isnt really an issue, but I don't really wanna spend more than 8-900 total.

hey guys, the fr500 chrome's on MT look like this


however, the rims on partshopper look like this...




The PS ones look shinier, but I was wondering if they were different or just looked different from being 2 different pics.

And can somebody find me a pic of the rims fitted on a GT?? I cant find any for the life of me. All I can find are those on cobras.

 

Try to find a pic with a Gt of your color as you have a hard color to match wheels to. Have you tried looking through Car domain as I have looked through all the 94-98 stang to see whats out there for my stang. I saw more of what not to do .

Mine are silver with a machined lip, the difference in most FR500's are some are really from Ford Racing and the others are knock offs... the real ones will have the embossed "Ford Racing" on the lip and only come in 17x8 & 18x9. I know you want chrome, but this will give you some idea...

The fact of the fr500's being replica's doesnt bother me. Thats what the pony center caps are for :-P Anyways, I saw them on your car, shaker, but I wanted to see what chrome looked like on a dark colored car like mine. Eh...i dunno.
