going to get the fr5s for my 98 gt, not sure if i should go 18x9 and 18x10 or 17x9 and 18x10 what do you guys think?

depends on what you want to spend. 18x9 and 18x10 looks good otherwise 17x9 and 17x10.5 looks good also

the difference in price is like 250, so i was just wondering if the size difference would look better,

I have 18s and love the look but hate the price of tires. Look at tire prices before making a decision.

+1 thats what I meant the price difference in the rims are not much but the price difference in the tires will be $$$

18s looks better imo. I gotta buy two 18x10s soon for when I get new tires. They didn't sell the deep dishes when I got my FR500s years ago.

18's in back and 17's in front thats old school, it takes a nice rim to pull it off, i think it gives the car a jacked *** end look but that only works for some cars not all.
