so who downloaded it? i got it and its pretty cool, but i find installing games pointless since you have to leave the disk in.

are you able to download full games with it now? I know they have netflix. MS should really come out with being able to downlaod new games using those MSpoints instead of needing to go out and buy them. Save it to the hard drive

 

i dont think so, but then again i only played with it for about 30minuts before i had to get to school.

 

just loaded it up.. doesn't have the option to buy games so I don't know it's OK. Could have lived without the update now its just a little more confusing haha

Dave, you can download games for the arcade and from the original xbox. but you will still need teh 360 disks to play

and the reason for downloading the 360 games to the HD is so that loading times are faster. i know in Dead Space, loading between chapters takes about 3-5 mins for me. so it should cut down on the load times ten fold.

I'm at work so I haven't updated yet. Should be a cool update though with all the new features. I'm gonna have to get Netflix again since you can stream movies to the Xbox.

 

I like it, but then again I also have a Wii, so the whole character creation thing was still cool. I look sweet as an enormous-headed monster of a human.

 

So far its better. The party option from the dashboard is good.

I have a PS3, suckas! We've been able to download full games for at least 6 months. And the only real updates we get now are security updates

Give me a gold membership card. My roommate has one and I only play with him sometimes on there on games like Fear2, Gears 1/2, Halo 1-3, and whatever i get from my other freind. I mostly play guitar hero on my Ps2 whenever i fee like playing games.

 

pffft. been DL games on the Wii for over a year...way to go xbox for lagging behind.

 

Netflix sucks, hardcore.

Their streaming catalogue is far less than what they have available to ship, not to mention that the quality of streaming video is that of a VHS tape, even with an excellent connection.

If you're planning on getting Netflix just for the 360, save your money.
