that is one of the most inane, most tragic things I've ever heard. Jesus ******* christ what has humanity come to?

It's sad that a baby had to suffer the consequences.

But also that gives cops more reason to be suspicious of mustangs.

not really. the baby is dead, and the guy is still alive in the hospital.

This will probably sound more incencitive than r3d, but if the dude dies too that is 2 generations wiped out before more damage could be done.

my thought is: if the baby is dead that's his one shot at procreation. The next sex he's going to ever get again will be in a prison cell, and I doubt he'll be the pitcher so his options for more babies are non-existant. Qualification for the award is removing yourself from the gene pool in the most inventive way possible... not necessarily killing yourself. You could for instance cut your nuts off with a hedge trimmer whilst demonstrating your sword fighting prowess and simultaneously attempting to do a triple backwards somersault through a flaming hoop.

Your friends will be more amused with the hedge trimmer bit.

I wonder what the car seat company is going to say?!? It says that the baby was ejected from the car.

Indeed, a very a sad story.
However, I surely hope this sends a message to those who think that street racing can or ever is safe. Would they let you have you baby in the back seat at the track? hell no
May her tragic death not be entirely in vain
