Default Sloan Ford service/parts dept sucks

i cant believe that after calling ford for about 20 mins they havent picked up their phone. i know for a fact that they are not busy because they never are.

Yesterday, i went in to the Parts dept and asked for a part for the EGR system cause the one in the sable messed up (Code P0401: Insufficient EGR Flow). i go in and tell them what the code is and they have no idea what i was talking about. Then they tell me there is 4 different parts to the EGR system. I dont even know what the hell the EGR system does!

not only is my egr fucked, my car is out of inspection adn i know if i take it to ford they will **** me over in parts cause theyre gonna say that my Drivers side wheel assembly needs fixed (it squeeks a lil..ok a lot). UGH!!!!!!!

/rant

EDIT: I just tried again, and i got theyre voicemail....again!!!!!!! a;lgb;lasngpovjnf ;dokk !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!%$#QT%#@^ <- Means i am very very pissed off.

ok, maybe you need to find a better Ford dealership....
now, if I read thhis correctly, your looking for a DPFE, which is the pressure feed-back sensor for the EGR system? if-so what year and is it a 3.0 2V or a 3.0 DOHC?

Dohc. and yes, im going to try a different dealership. thanks, im going to try brian hoskins ford, which is about 20 more minutes away from where i am.

P.S. thanks randy, you are one of a kind when it comes to Service. lol. For some reason, ford dealerships above the mason dixon line suck in general

i had p0401, it was the pressure feedback solenoid. ford replaced it fo free.99 even tho my car was JUST over the mileage for warranty.

That part should fall under the 5 year 50,000 mile emissions.
