Can anyone tell for for definite sure that when the service engine light is on that your only getting 10 miles to the gallon ? thats what i was told but i dont see that happening , because im getting the same gas mileage as b4 when the light was off , so if anyone has any idea let me know preciate it :headbang:

 

Could mean lots of things. Take it to an Auto Zone or local auto shop and they should be able to read the code.

You have to hook up a code scanner and see what codes it pulls up. The check engine light tells you that you have a problem but nothing specific until you scan for codes.
