you are an e-thug, you say how badass you are on the internet. that = e-thug. you openly admit to street racing and then try to defend that its ok to do. now that makes you a dumbass. then there's the way you make your case, that makes you an immature punk. I could go on, ONLY based on what I've seen from you in this forum. guns are for *****'s? LMFAO!!!! I have plenty of fighting experience, but I am smart enough to know that other ppl have guns...so I will have one too so the odds are even. saying guns are for pussies makes you a dumbass again. I whole heartedly agree. I can't believe anyone would want to live in a place where they are denied the right to defend themselves should the government decide that the people no longer deserved a certain right

OK. The bottom line is " street racing is illegal". There is a reason for that. People can get hurt. Doesn't mean it will happen but it can happen. But to race in a residential area is plain foolish, even if you think you arethe best dam street racer ever, neighborhood roads are not wide enough for sie by side racing. Plus, Nobody will be prepared for side by side racing even going at a slow speed. This happened last year in a neighborhood in my town. I used to live on this street and believe me it was a long stretch of road, but it was barely a 2 lane road. 1 person died here. The other driver was charged with manslaughter. Luckily it was only the drivers of the cars that were racing that were involved. Too bad, but glad no "innocent" people were involved. BTW, This was a corvette and a mustang, The vette is the crumbled mess you see..

Even if you took ever precaution in the world, there is still no gaurantee that the guy you are racing is either sane nor honest half the time. What if, once you got to 31mph over the limit, he decided to try to run you off the road? Boned

I can honestly say I don't race my car. Hell, I drive in the city where it's constant stop and go traffic, my average miles per hour is 33.1, and I live in a city full of ricers. I can't tell you how many times I've had an Eclipse, Focus Hatchback, Cobalt LS (or whatever the hell they're called), Lancers, Civics, etcs pulling up next to me at a light and revving their engine like they're something special. All I do is roll down my windows, watch their faces as they realize that I'm a girl in a muscle car, and laugh as their exhaust emits the sound of a seriously pissed-off mosquito. After that, I let them ream their **** out. I don't try them. I don't have to race to prove that my car is fast. I also know that just because they're a ricer, doesn't mean that they're not pushing anything. I bet some of them could smoke me.

I actually had an '05 GTO before I got my '05 GT. GTO had 6 liters 400 horses, just plain wonderful when it came to power. I was driving just after the first rain in about 3 months. My tires weren't that great, the roads were slick, so I was being careful, going maybe about 35-40 miles per hour in a 50mph zone on a two lane road. There was this car in front of me going about 20mph, hitting their brakes erratically, and swerving across the lines. It was worrying me that they could possibly be drunk, not know where they are, or both. I went to go around them. I slowed down to about 35 to pass them. All of a sudden, I hit a puddle on the left side of the road, started to hydroplane, and then lost traction in my back tires, and spun hard to the right. We (my fiance and I) ran straight through a heavily-built wood fence, and then straight into a powerline, hitting the car dead in the center between the two hood scoops and knocking the powerline completely in half. I couldn't get out of my driver's side door, so I had to climb out of the passenger's door. We were both okay, but my GTO wasn't. It was totaled. I absolutely could not believe how much damage was caused at 35-40mph. I could have killed someone without meaning to, but thank (insert diety here), no one else was around. It was completely unintentional for me to wreck that car. I wasn't racing, nor was I showing off. Hell, I wasn't even going fast enough to make that car hunker down and take the **** off! I shudder to think of what would have happened to my fiance and I, or someone else, if I was racing that car.
The moral of the story is just to be careful, no matter where you are. Even if you're on a rural road in the middle of nowhere, a wild boar could run out in the road, or if you're in LA, a wild ***** could run out in front of you. Any idiot can street race, but not every idiot will survive. Everytime you street race and come home alive, and not hurt anyone, you are one sorry-*** lucky bastard.
I wonder if you'll end up killing someone before you will stop your irrational thoughts. There is no way to defend street racing...period.

guns are for pussies? haha.... tell my old Soo Bahk Do instructor that when he got mugged by 4 thugs...he did his best to defend himself...in the end he needed a gun, not cause he couldnt woop serious ***, but because there were four of them and one pulled a stun gun, kinda hard to throw blows with 300,000 volts runnin through ya, so he pulled his .45 out and thats all it took, just the showing of it, and the situation was over, the thugs all ran.
