hpv? i was just looking that up...50% of all women have it at some point...by itself it shouldnt make you cross her off...looks to be easily cleared up for her

 

you got me looking into hpv. and the amount of people that have it is scary and the thought of getting ***** cancer is the most terrible thought ever.

 

mustangrn. I do believe you just Scared the hell out of the boys on this Forum. As a man, I agree with you. She's probably a nice girl, just making bad mistakes in her young life. We've all seen them., The easy girls who like to drink and have sex. And as she gets older she will regret most of the things she did. She will want to get married and start a family, but she may have a reputation to deal with if she stays close to home.

And your also right about the double standard, as far as male vs female in the social world. There aint many guys who won't brag ( and lie) about how many girls they had. But girls don't want that info to be known. That's just a fact of life. Especially in the young adulthood stage.

Good post, But, young men are gonna look for the easy score before they look at long term relationship. And I'm guessing most young girls want a relationship before they decide to give it up. But then again I'm beginning to reach middle age, and I see the world a lot different now than when I was young..

The reason for the double standard is: Girls GIVE UP sex, guys GET sex. If a guy wanted to have sex 365 straight days with 365 different girls it would be impossible. However if a GIRL wanted to have sex 365 days straight with 365 different guys all she would have to do is walk into a room with 400 guys in it and says 'Who wants to have sex with me" and 365 guys would say yes.

 

An intelligent, open-minded, outspoken woman tends to have that effect. My car is nicknamed the mid-life crisis if that gives you a clue about my age I think you misunderstood my post. I didn't mean that I think this girl is making a mistake. I think she is very entitled to enjoy herself as she sees fit and shouldn't be judged by people who are doing the very same thing. Usually a girl wants to establish a relationship before hand to ensure she's not sleeping with a douche bag. Consider it an extended interview. Not that we are trying to bag a man but just weed out the numb nuts.

The fact is we all bring baggage with us. There are things in everyone's past they don't want public. My husband and I both had very extensive premarital experiences and it has only added to our relationship. You can't find any one without a past, and it's on you to deal with it or leave.

 

Once again, You are correct. It's nice to see some experienced posts from us older gerneration members.. Keep up the good posts. The reason I said you scared the young kids on here is cause none of them posted anything after got the claws out. LOL.. . I thought it my be a classic "thread killer" so decided to keep it going..

 

Scared nothing....I just haven't been in this thread in a while. As for the double standard, I label BOTH women and men who sleep around as *****. But I don't really care about it. It'd be hypocritical at best if I did care.

 

I think rebelyell and mustangrn were on the money here. There is an old saying that says "I've been your age, you haven't been mine". Listen to us old people, we aint as dumb as we sound!!!

 

Certainly don't want to be a thread killer BUT I have a hard time just letting mass ignorance roam free.
