I wouldnt pay more than 10 grand for it, personally.
I paid 10800 for my 2000 Trans Am, non WS6 with a clean title and 77000 miles.
word of advice, make absolutely certain that you can deal with the little issues that come with owning an Fbody. You wont believe it until you buy one and experience it yourself, no matter how many owners try to warn you, but you will deal with them. Headlights, turn signals, window motors, clogged cats, headlight motors, eating oil like a ****, etc.
Id go back to my slow 99 mustang in a heartbeat, is basically what Im trying to say.

the f-body and the corvette are historically some of the least reliable cars on the road. They spent so much time trying to shoe horn that old *** 350 into the platforms that they completely forgot about making them not suck.
I've had both... an 84 firebird that I could never keep running and a couple mustangs that I couldn't fuggin kill. I'd take the stang for any car I'd actually have to drive. The firebird was fun on the rare occasion that it would stay running long enough to enjoy.
Salvage title cuts the value by at least 50% if not a little more.

I cant agree more R3d. I thought I was going to move from the Fbody to a used Z06, but to be quite honest, I dont know if I ever want another LS-powered car without a brand spanking new 100k mile warranty from GM. My Mustang was WAY slower, but WAY more fun to drive, sounded 10x better, and was just all around a better daily driven car. Ill have another some day
