Hi All,

My fiance and I got taken by shop\guy out here in the LA area of CA, We dropped her 00 3.8 off on Feb 4th 2007 for a custom paint job, a navi/stereo install, exhaust work, and some other stuff. The owner told us it would be around 4-5 weeks for this work to be completed. On Sep 3rd 2007, my fiance went to the shop with a rep from the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (CBAR), and a Police officer from the local city to collect her STILL unfinished car! The shop owner even stole parts off her car, and installed them on another 3.8! (We have proof).

My fiance's dad is an attorney, and we are taking civil, along with possible criminal action against this individual, but I wanted to know where I can post information to inform others about this individual's actions (his shop is still open)

I'm purposely leaving out names to keep from turning this into a flame post, untill I hear from a moderator. We have documentation from the CABR rep, and the police to back up our claims.

My ultimate goal is to keep others from being ripped off as badly as we were.

Post the name of the shop. Word of mouth is the best way to get word out about a shady/good shop imho. Post up on some other boards so that other stangers don't get taken for a ride..

I wanted to get Mod permission before I Flamed-On..

Need to check with my soon-to-be father-in-law, to check out what I can, or cannot say, since he has filed legal action against this individual. If I get the OK from him, you'll all get the rest of the story....
