Default Progress report,,w/PICS!!!

Ok, motor and tranny are in the car. Had to buy another 3/8" spacer and then cut it down to a 1/4" (double stack. put it above my one inch spacer) so that the upper intake could be put on and clear the valve covers. Upper is on just for mock-up at this point. Won't be long now guys.

I hope,,,cross your fingers for me please.

Little did I know that Holley reccomends the Trick Flow valve covers for their kit,,seeing as how it is one of only a few valve covers that will fit under their intake. You shoulda seen me pitchin a fit when it hit my new valve covers,,,even with a 1" spacer.

you have a prime example of a badass fox body. Clean in and out, and done right!

Yours is my favorite fox, next to my buddies brothers whos got a sonic blue one with a 427 in it.

Nah, not gonna fill the holes in. I just wanted a nice clean engine bay so when I open the hood it looks good. Now if I was building a car that I planned on shoing alot,,,,different story. Drivers side wheelwell liner still has to go back in. Gonna get some more done today I hope.

would having 2 spacers on the intake, affect your performance or will it blow intake gasket. Just asking causing I have the same intake w/the same valve covers, and I was going to do the same thing instead of buying custom made valve covers.

Since I bought the kit used and no directions I didn't get the paper that says to use the Trick Flow valve covers (will clear roller rockers.) If I woulda known that I woulda had no problem w/just the 1" spacer. I hope it doesn't effect performance. Once it's up and running I'll get it dyno'd and see what it looks like. If it's not what I expect I'll definitely get the appropriate valve covers and go back to the 1" spacer by itself.
