my first class was scheduled for 9 oclock this morning. my mom calls at 6:30 and says there are cops surrounding a building on campus here at Rolla. turns out some froot loop threatened to blow up the civil engineering building. he was caught with a bag of white powdery substance which is still being tested to determine what it is. the good news is classes are cancelled while they search the giant building for a bomb.

My senior prom got postponed due to that **** last year. Somone mailed a letter to the school with intentions blah blah blah, state and local police were involved, even the FBI. Was crazy ****. We had bomb sniffing dogs search everywhere, every locker (although I think they can do that without opening it) all over our school, our cars, and the entire building it was going to be held at... when it finally occured the person still hadent been identified so there were dogs standing gaurd outside, just to be sure.

 

yeah they had all kinds of bomb squads and decontamination tents set up. the FBI was also called in. no class though

 

sounds like someone wanted to get out of a test, lol.

In junior high we had a bomb threat..and then my sophomore year we also had a threat..actually two or three of them.. mainly people just being retards..

Junior high was like the day after 9/11 and everyone was being stupid some guy called in threatening to blow up like..a city block that had our school in it..fbi came..swat team or w/e..lotta people..the idiot who called...wherever he called dialed the number from his house phone..needless to say..he was busted fairly quickly..which was rofl.

The other major one .. idk what they were about.. something like wanting to kill people at the school or something...cops searched the school (which for a long time was the biggest public high school west of the mississippi) they found like...boxes of shotgun shells ect.. i beleive they caught that kid too..

 

yeah, for our prom ordeal the kid apparently was a student from our class who had been 'shunned' or some bs and wasnt a student anymore by the context of the message... so it could only be a few people, no one was ever convicted. The public school near me found a friggen grenade in the bathroom. Who puts agrenade in the bathroom?

 

the first person that wants to blow the **** out of something... anything, and happens to have a grenade at school.

 

There have been 3 bomb threats on seperate schools in the past 2 weeks here in eastern Iowa. Also like 2 months ago they caught kids from 2 different schools planning to "blow" their schools up.

 

Yea..i just want to know how stupid some people can be though..

as for the shunned kid thing..most kids are shunned because they are anti social..they don't talk to people or they worship the devil or some crap... people need to stop blaming other people for their problems.
