Three worst mods you did to your car

Worst Mods to Date !
1. 4.10 Gears -- Total waste of money, had two front differential seals leak, they started quiet, 1 year later (and of course several 1/4 runs later) whine constantly at highway speeds! Oh and lets not get started on the 70mph exhaust drone... Mind boggling! I love em loud but the wah wah wah rythm will make you spitting mad after an hour or so!
2. VENOM VCN-1000 Nitrous kit -- Nothing but problems, and never seemed to work just right, made about 5 passes then said to hell with it !!! Took a $150 loss when it sold on ebay.
3. Haven't finished this one yet, but I just purchased a set of stock 3.27 gears, and will have them installed in the spring! Costing me more money!

1. conventional lowering springs. Handle like ****, ride like ****, no adjustability.
2. IRS. Fragile. Broke mine repeatedly on the street. Heavy and big time rear steer.
3. Flows w/ dumps. Think I'm sterile from the loud azz drone shaking my nutz like a bloody paint mixer.
Best mods were, coil overs, MM torque arm & panhard bar kit, cobra brakes... in reverse order.

Nope read a bit closer, I miss my stock gears, thats why im ditching the
4.10's and going back stock. They are Richmond gears. I don't visit the 1/4 anymore, don't spray the stang anymore so no spray no racing and the 4.10's are kind of overkill, of course it my fault I shouldn't have got them to begin with... lol

1) buying a gt
2) sub woofers, just a pain when you have a loud exhaust and loud sound system, cant really hear the person next to yourself, let alone yourself.

If I still tracked the car or still had big plans for more HP I would keep them. Plus if I ever get bit by the mod bug again, Im sure it will be a supercharger and KB at that, from what ive read on here and heard at the track, the
4.10's don't make the best companion for supercharged applications.

huh? Not sure where ur going with that one... I still love my stang, but it sees no racing action, no street racing of course, and pretty much just drives me back and forth to work! Thats why im ready to ditch the 4.10's And im not the first to complain about em... And yep they were alot of fun at the track, and still are if I get in the rare mood to smoke the tires. Just ready to ditch the drone and gear whine.

centrifugal blowers love hot gears since they build boost with RPM. My 3.55's are coming in this weekend. I thought about 3.73's but with the 5.4 making all the torque at almost no rpm I decided less gear will be good for me.
