dam cat ran right into my path from work tonight. I tried to swerve right but should have swerved left. He went right under left front wheel at 50 MPH. Wasn't much I could do so I didnt even stop. Poor guy. Hate to sound like a whiner but I felt bad. I haven't ran over any animals in a very long time. Just makes me sad to know someones kitty wont be coming home tomorrow..

Yeah man it sucks to hear that. When I see a dead kitty on the road I usually think that some little kid is looking for it or doesn't even know it is dead yet. Kinda makes me sad.

 

Don't feel so bad, you did what you could. I hit a deer doin 80-85 last summer, its how I got my Mustang ...I don't feel so bad about that f*cker!

 

lol but how many people have deer as a pet. Do you know anyone that sits in a tree stand to hunt cats haha. I deer is a wild animal that won't go home to snuggle up next to someone at night. But who knows...my goat snuggles with me.

My older brother was out cruising (which is the only thing he does in his mustang, because it isnt his daily driver anymore, the audi A4 is!) and he hit someones cat with his 03 cobra bumper... it smashed the hell out of his bumper, [GRAPHIC NATURE FOLLOWS] it was one fat cat... his g/f was in the car and he turned to her and said "Lindsay, you might wanna close your eyes" as furr flew up... he felt bad and tried to find the house it belonged to, but its very hard to do given the cat flew a good distance, and cats dont always just chill around their houses... I dont know if he found the house, but the front air damn opening has spider cracks running around the sides, and apparently he fixed a large crack running through it with epoxy (odd)
Until last week I hadent hit anything, not even a squirrel... Until I was doing a 0-60 run on route 53... I got a bad start because my right tire was in gravel... but I kept going... all my driving career I didnt think it was possible to hit a bird unless it was flying very low, like they were smart or the air rushing over the car would push it up... NOPE Hit it doing 45 and accelerating with my windshield, it left a little mark, and I dont know if I killed it... but I assume I hurt the thing... I immediately let off the throttle a bit and ended with a 6.1x 0-60 time... (BAD)

 

HAHAROFLHAHAHA oh god my side hurts.




Oh and i hit a dead coon one night exiting off the highway, almost hit 2 more that were checking out the dead one too.

 

funniest thing i rann over was a dead canadien goose and i was in the family mini van u have no idea how many feathers went flying they went all over highway 84 if anyone had there windows open they were gunna eat some pillow stuffing

 

Years ago, I smashed a rabbit on the highway. A few months ago, I squashed a mole while backing out of the driveway. He didn't stand a chance against my 315's

 

Yeah I just felt bad for the little guy. He was a young cat just trying to do what his owners should have kept him from doing. I love animals and hate to see a domestic one cut short so instantly. ( my front tire smashed him without any doubt, from the sound it made). He never saw what hit him. But at least it didn't tear anything up on my car.

 

Ive never hit any animal so far *knock on wood* but i almost hit a squirel at 95 mph one night coming home from school. He stopped in the middle of the road and waited. I was like WTF is in the road... OH **** A SQUIREL. Cobra brakes slowed the car down pretty quick to give myself some decision making time. He must of ran out about a 10th of a second before he got smooshed all over the road.

 

I hit a racoon once it just ran out into the road somehow missed my bumper but got f'd up by the front wheel. There was fur and blood all over my wheel/tire and blood platered on the side of my car. I stopped to check this mother out and it was once huge fat azz coon.
