Killed by a tool driving an SS.
Killed by a Camero!
Yep. Had my first run in with a Camero last night, i was on my way home from the liquer store and this camero from across the lot starts following me as i get ready to leave.
Anyways, im a fan of all muscle cars, this was a pretty slick t top camero supersport with custom exhaust, chrome rims, all in all a damn nice ride.
So as i take a right on my way out of the parking lot to a side street, this guy hauls *** up to catch up next to me. I look over at him, gave him a nod and a thumbs up. personally, i'm not too into those overpowered trash cans, but it was lookin and sounded good so i gave him some props.
He dropped back a bit and got behing me as i took a right onto the major street, i take the far left lane and he takes the middle lane. He pulls up next to me again and just looks at me. Then he freakin FLIPS ME OFF aand slams it! Now i wasnt really expecting a race. I was on my way home with a 6'er of suds plannin on cleanin the house a little cause i knew i wouldnt have time before my girl comes up tonight.
My AC was on and my overdrive was on. Even with them off, my mostly stock stang aint gonna keep up with his ride. Those SS's are fast!
Anyways, i couldnt believe this guy! I got a NICE 04 black stang, i take care of it, it draws a LOT of looks and a lot of compliments everywhere i go.
I have this jackass a thumbs up! And all he can do is totally blow past me and flip me off!
So far, every encounter ive had with somone in a fast car who felt like getting squirrly, they have all ben pretty cool, compliments are passed, and its all right.
I knew someday i was gonna run into a total *****, what blew my mind was he was not some 16yr old kit with his hat sideways in some sooped up little honda with wing made by boeing, but but a late model camero supersport driving guy who was in his late 40's to early 50's.
Yep. i guess his age between 47 and 53.
what a jackass.

Dangerous
Drivers like the SS pilot are dangerous. Their attitude will get people hurt (unfortunately, often not including them).
Best thing to do is ignore them as soon as you figure them out. They're just miserable jerks seeking to share their misery with others - and life's too short to waste a single second on them.
I had a similar situation with an amazingly obnoxious M-type vert. BMW worth upwards of $65000 not long ago, and I handled it this way:
Pulled over at a kmart, waved him to lower his window, and told him I'd race for a $500 bet. He yelled sure, lets do it... Then I said OK, where's your cash?
He got all confused, then said I shouldn't worry, he was "good for it".
I laughed at him, shook my head, and told him "Come see me when you get a job."
He sat there stunned for a minute, then pealed out and ran over a tall curb when he cut the corner too sharp. Lots of loud clanking and I suspect a very expensive bent rim.
Made my week. Only thing better would have been if he hit a tree.
Worst case, he would have wanted to go to a bank or something. Mentioning money threw him out of his comfort zone. In all the years I've done this, only a few of the clods have taken me up on it, with cash. Only 2 have actually shown up at the track when I explained we weren't going to do the $500 race right then and there in the street. (Set a price you're comfortable with, of course - this is a trick that you have to exercise judgement with, of course).
Beat 'em both at the track, too. (Another BMW with delusions of grandeur, and a Z28 which probably should have taken me, but he over-reved it at the line and lost traction for just a bit too long...)
Z28 guy paid and we had a good conversation afterward - I think he might have straightened up a bit after that - he was pretty young. BMW guy skipped without paying up. Figures.

Yeah I got beat by a chick driving a TransAm last Tuesday. I am ashamed but then again I wasn't even ready. We were playing dodge ball in traffic at first and she got up to about 70 so I caught up and when I got next to her she took off. I hit the gas as fast as I could and kept up with her but she was already in front by a car length and a bridge was coming up so I let off. Guess it's not to much of a race at a 70mph rolling start. Atleast she was hot

I was coming from the center of my town and there is a little 1/4 mile strip going by a store... I looked behind me and saw a Honda cbr 600 F4i and i was like hey way not. So i put it to the boards and he passed me doing a wheelie, and i said to my self yea it was worth the gas to watch that.
