Default Camcorder Recommendations?

Okay guys, I need to buy a Camcorder and need some recommendations around $250-$350.
I would like MiniDv and ability for still images using an SD Card (I already have a new 1GB card)
Any thoughts?

Well I bought a Canon ZR200 about a year and a half ago.. it's an alright camera.. the autofocus sucks BAD on it at night though.. I usually just leave it on manual focus. If I could do it all over again I would definately get a Sony.

I think I am just gonna bid on a 4gb card for my Sony DSC-W1. That should give me enough size for some cool VIR Road Course vids.

What's the best price you've seen on a 4gb card? I have a Sony DSC-P200 but it only has a 32mb card...

First, make sure it is compatible. I went on Sony's site to see if mine was.
Buy-it-now's are at $200. I might sell you my 256mb card cheap if I win one.

Well, I just won on eBay two BRAND NEW 4GB Sandisk UltraII Memory Stick Pro's for $51 & $22.

That means over 96 minutes of 640x480 @ 30fps
or 320 minutes of 640x480 @ 15fps of video recording.

Good enough for me.

Now, only bad news is that he doesn't take PayPal. :censored:
No biggie, I can send out money orders on Wed.

Congrats!!! That's a hell of a good price.

Everything I've read says I can only go up to a 2gb card...guess I need to start looking on Ebay. Still wanna sell that 256 "cheap"?

I should probably just max out with the 2gb, but I'll keep an eye on that one...
