Default Window Sticker

OK well i recently acquired a BEAUTIFUL 2003 Ford Mustang GT Coupe Premium with all of the options (including the chrome 01' cobra rims) with the 5spd tranny. The car is beautiful, flawless, 15k miles on her and i paid 16.9. The car is a beautiful True Blue Metallic, and might i say DAYUM.

My father said that i might be able to procure a window sticker for my car from ford, the kind that says what options came on the car, the gas mileage etc. just for the purpose of having it. Has anyone else here tried to do this?
Thanx ahead of time and pics will be up soon (they are on the laptop...)

I'm not seeing the point... I'm interpreting you're putting the words, "steal me" on the window.

I think what he's saying is that he wants the original window sticker so he can keep it as kind of a "collectors" item. A lot of people that have "special edition" cars like to keep these for historical purposes. I know some of the Mach 1 guys that have bought their car used have tried to get window stickers and haven't had any luck, but I think the Cobra guys can get them from SVT.

You probably should contact the dealership and see if it's possible to get your hands on one. It doesn't hurt to ask, the worst they could say is no. If the dealership can't do it you might want to contact the Ford Motor company.

Nice buy. My first GT was a 2003 True Blue GT coupe. Sweet ride and gorgeous when polished up and in full day sun...very sweet.

Any ford dealership can do it. Go there with your VIN and just ask for one.

I have not founf this to be true. I have tried multiple dealerships, including the dealer that originally sold the car (which happens to be the dealer that i bought it from). I have been told at every dealer that the only way to get it is to have the person who bought it new request if from Ford or through a dealer. I've been told every time that I am out of luck. So I just gave up trying.......

I don't know why that would make a difference. I started atempting this in 1996 when I bought the car.
