Default SCT X3 Tune Help Please

Is anyone using the canned 93 tune from one of these units? I recently brought one because it seems like no one uses the Predator any more for custom tuning.

My question is this, all of the spark advance levels in all three rpm ranges are set at "zero". Is this the "norm" for this? This just does'nt seem right

If any of you guys have a custom tune with the SCT software, can you check and see what your settings are and let me know. Oh yea, its an 02 GT. Thanks Bubba

Where did the tune come from? I could look at mine, but I'm sure it's not going to be the same as yours. I say just go get a dyno tune, the car feels a lot smoother than a mail order tune.

It was preloaded tune that came with the tuner.

Yeah, your best bet, Tuff, is to get a custom dyno tune.

It says 0 or whatever because that is telling you that you have not added or taken timing out of the base tune on the tuner. So say the tune has 17* programmed into it. When you load it up and go to add more timing its going to say 0 or whatever it says. Then if you press up once it will say 1* thats how they work. Its not that you have 0* of advance right now.

dusto is correct. Sorry I didn't see this earlier. It's a change to the base timing. Some tuners specify the RPM range to effect the change in, usually they'll allow 10% off base.
