Talking OMG!!!!!! SCT Tune Installed!!!!

I installed the tune from MT, and my GOD!!!!! I am so freaking impressed!!!! The throttle response is unreal, the shift points are awesome, and the speed of the car is GREAT!!!!! I would recommend this for anyone with an automatic to do this MOD first!!!!! Thank you all for this great website that taught me about the best mods to do first!! Next inline is my 4:10 gears!!!!!! I can only imagine the results of my next mod!!! Feeling how my car is pulling right now, i'm hoping to hit 13.8-13.9 at the track!!!!!

yep i remember when i first got my tune for my car, and I absolutely loved it, hey bragg use the performance tune for awhile and then try your stock tune and you will wangt to throw up at the shift points, ha ha
but anyways in about 3 weeks i will be able to tell you how 410's will feel (along with valve body, stall and a built engine) but yeah good luck at the track

Thanks Brother!!! I will try that out!!!! I can't wait to get to the track to see how its gonna pull....It seems to pull more after 70mph, unlike before when I hit 70 it would sort of die out on me, now it seems to pull, and pull, and pull...........Can't wait!!!!! 4:10s, and A 100 shot....

I love how at part throttle it shifts hard enough to make your foot bounce on the gas pedal a bit. I'm tellin ya, auto's with a tune and 4.10s are a blast. Makes me regret not getting a 5 spd a little less.

Bragg, did you go to a shop to get the tune done (after you got the tuner from MT) or was it straight out of the box. I am looking to go SCT XCal2 too but just was trying to prep myself for the sticker shock if I have to get a dyno on top of it! Shops out here suck when it comes to dynoing...$200+ an hour.

Interceptor,

Just let MT give you their tune! It is awesome!!!! You won't regret it. All I have done to my car is the following:

CAI
Flowmaster 40s
XCal 2 (MT Tune)

And my car is running great!!!

:stupid: I'm REALLY wanting the 3.73/XCAL II package for my sixer, but I am currently trying to find a friend who knows somerthing about them to help me install the gears so i dont have to pay for a shop. What would the prices be for an install at the shop (gears)?

I'm getting 4.10s after my 1000 mile roadtrip in july.

I have the custom tune with my stock gearing (auto).
Do you think I would notice a larger difference with the tune and stock gearing. OR a tune with 4.10's. Kinda hard to explain, but I felt a very good difference with just the tune and stock gearing. Will I feel about the same gain or even bigger when I get 4.10s?
