Default Intake
On my 01 Gt automatic I have removed the air silencer and replaced the filter with a k&n but I want to know if I would be better off putting a CIA in, how much hp would I gain if any and what brand is best to go with?

That setup will work just fine. Save your money and get something more worthwhile like gears or long tubes and full exhaust.

You won't be gaining much by getting a CAI. I wanted my JLT intake just because the stock rubber tube is so ugly.

What you did already classifies as a CAI. Waste your cash on more useful stuff.

Thanks for all the info, ill leave it as is and put my money towards other mods.

Until you have full bolt on's and cams or heads/cams I wouldn't worry about doing anything other then pulling the silencer and running a K&N filter.
