Default Opinions on engine work

My car (before I got it) was curb-checked going about 65mph and damaged the front suspension so badly, that the chasis was even bent a little. So, I just got money back from the tax return and plan on either using it to fix my car, which would be about $900. Or, I can try to sell it as is and buy a GT. I owe about 2k on it so I wouldn't be getting much from it.

Thing is, I want a car that'll last me through college with out any major mechanical problems. SO, fix or sell?

If you're looking for something to get you through college, maybe get a beater. If you're stuck on the stang, there's always the Foxes. Dirt cheap and the 302 feels good in a light version like the LX.

Thats what I was thinking too. Sell it and get a fox as they are cheap and you can get parts all day long for cheap for those motors and cars.

I dislike foxes and anything before the new edges. There are only a select few classics and fox-body's that i'd take.
Mainly because im not willing to work on them.

With damage like that, I'd sell and upgrade.

with damage like that..theres no guarentee it'll ever be the same.. sell it, if a v8 is what you want go get it.

IMO Foxbody all the way (and if they are cheap to fix, and if kept in good condition, you don't have to fix it )

If your not willing to do some work then do not get an older car for sure.

put a for sale sign in it and let it rip jk

naw seriously u get a buyer and u sign off on your title and the buyer signs off
you have to put it down as sold on your tax return and u r good to go
pretty easy as long as the car is paid off
depends on how much u sell and bought it for u may have to give some of that away to uncle sam

or there is always d fact u can take d risk and just not report it

Yeah just start with a craigslist add and put a sign on your car. Might be all it takes, but it's pretty hard to sell a car right now.

Didn't you just get an exhaust put on? Shoulda thought about this before lol.
