Turn signals work sometimes, but 4 way flashers always work?
Just as the title says... If I go to the car right now, the turn signals may or may not work, but the damn 4 ways/hazard lights will. I don't understand what the problem could be, that's why I'm asking yall? Any clue? I figured it might be a lose wire somewhere, god, I hope not

The turn signals use a different flasher unit than the 4 ways. Replacing the flasher with the correct flasher unit[#of bulbs to be lit] should do the trick. At work we use electronic flashers on our service trucks due to the changing loads placed on the system, when used with various tow behind equiptment. They are a good investment as they can adjust to any load.

could be something in the dash switch for the hazards. i mounted a tach right beside it, and screwed into that dash surrond, think i put on through a wire because i no longer have working turn signals, but my hazards work, and both go through the same flasher relay in the fuse panel under the dash.

UPDATE: I've discovered something new with this problem. When the turn signals don't work, neither does the A/C fan selector switch thingy. So, when I get in the car now and if the fan switch won't blow on any of the settings, I discovered, (by accident), if I jiggle the ignition switch while the car's running, the blinkers and fan start working fine again... Anybody got a clue what it could be now?
