Default Fuel pump question

Does the tank have to dropped to upgrade or replace the fuel pump or can you access it from under the rear seat. Thanks Bubba

Thanks Dan, I remember now when you said about the plastic cover. I noticed that when I was replacing the upper and lower control arms. I was looking for the lazy man's way. I am going to put a ProCharger on it and have to upgrade the pump.

No problem, I wish I still had the pictures for my write ups. While you're removing the small 5mm screws holding the basket cover on, Id use a magnet as well so you dont drop any of the screws into the tank. Something like this, http://www.modelfixings.co.uk/images/magnet_pen.gif Im sure you can handle it.

Yeah its pretty easy to do. I did it alone using one jack stand in my two car garage. Make sure the tank is on E to make life much simpler.
