nice and yeah so it will be at the exhaust cutouts... i'll prolly end up having a shop put on the bumper and then take it to the place i had my exhaust done and have em realign it for me. hope it doesnt cost that much, if it wont cost over 200 i'll have it done sometime next week. this friday im taking it in to get it tinted i'll be calling the 2 shops in town tomorrow( exhaust and body shop) if the exhaust shop could put on the bumper and align the exhaust at the same time that would be great.

Tint does wonders for our cars. My tint looked 10 times better once i got it back and washed it. It helps in the summer its 10 times cooler when i get in it. It really helps esp. since in im Texas.

so their are side panels in the trunk? and 2 bolts behind each rear wheel and the screws under the bumper?

It is REALLY easy to pull-off a bumper. The thing is just attached with a few bolts. Getting the new one to fit right is the tricky part especially if you bought a cheap one.

It would take me longer to post the steps, then it would take for you to actually do it. Seriously, there is really nothing to it.

The first thing you need to do is remove the screws on the dust covers in the wheel wells as they are attached to the cover. There are two large bolts that attach the bumper to the frame of the car if i am not misstaken. You access them from under the hood. I think you have to pull the battery too to the find the one on the driver side, but I don't remember. There are also a few small bolts the attached the cover in the front that are under the hood.

This is a 30 minute job......this is why the shop is only charging you $40. Do you make $80/hr? If not, you should really do this yourself. Naturally, it will take you longer then a pro, but you will feel good about yourself too.

Just walk around the car and start pulling on it. You will see where it is bolted pretty quick.

The fit when it goes on can be a pain. Don't do this in the cold.....the bumper should be flexible.

why would the bolts be under the hood? When the bumper is in the rear?

Fawk.....I guess the joke is on me - LOL

The one in the back is prolly easier because you don't have to worry about the headlights.

nah i think the rear bumper would be 10 times easier and quicker. Just think of all the stuff you would have to remove for the front.

i have a better idea to remove this b*tch. i go take bigass boltcutters and cut away on the bumper and find each bolt. **** it already has a big 12" in diameter hole in the side so its not re usable + i could post pics of where they are located at

Remove the inter trunk compartment trim panel covers the one by the trunk latch and the 1 on each side. There are 2 bolts on the each side by the wheel wells. I think 6 along the back between the tail lights. Then there are 2 behind the wheels on the out side along the wheel wells and 5 under the car along with a fuel drain line on the pass side.

That should do it.
