Default full bumper to bumper or none at all ?

I'm wonderin if i should get a full bumper to bumper at the dealer. The Pros are that I can blow my engine and I pay 100 bucks and get it rebuilt. The down side, I cant touch anything on the car cause I void the warr. and there goes my 2 k down the drain.

Nah, just shy away from them. I had to hold off the mods for a year...longest time ever.

it depends. i for one would not, as I like to mod my car and race at the strip.

But, if your not gonna get mods for the engine and keep it STOCK for the rest of its life then SURE WHY NOT??????

I wouldn't because I've heard they look for every way possible to not have to pay for extended warranty work.

I say no for this reason.I bought the extended warranty and cancelled it a year later, after some mods , They refunded only $1400 and sent it too Ford.

When I bought my stang (used), I got an extended warrenty. After having the car for about 3 - 4 months and everything seemed fine, I cancelled the warrenty and got back about 95% of what I spent on the warrenty. The check was sent to me.

The 5% loss was a deal....bought me peace of mind.

I bought my car used and the original owner had the extended warranty and he told me I could get it transfered to me, I didn't even waste my time. My local Ford dealership denied me warranty service before I even began modding (they said someone else cut out the back glass to fix a leak when I had the service sheet that said THEY did it, so they wouldn't cover it under warranty) so I said screw you and started modding!

You mean you got a check for $1400 bucks after you cancelled your extended warranty after 1 year? Or did you get anything?
