spike had sumthin' kinda like that happen to him, i believe his problem was a torn bushing on the rear sway bar...my best guess would be to check that...

It was on the upper control arm. You know the sway bar is connected directly to the control arms w/ no bushings right?

I tore my lower control arm bushings. It made the cars rear move around under thorttle. You might have the same problem i did. I was told i got a bad set of bushings.

As far as I know, V6 cars didn't come stock w/ sway bars.

hey blue thunder, fix the problem yet?? also, when u say the rear end seams loose and moves around, are you talking about the overall rear end, like the whole *** end of the car, or just the axle?

The looseness in the rear end is cuz im driving on drs right now, as far the knocking i have no clue yet. It knocks like hell when i back out of a parking spot. Sounds like a ca chunk sound when i back up or when i make a low speed tight turn.

umm, check ur exhaust. make sure it's not bangin' into ur driveshaft, axle, etc. other then that idk. maybe have a friend stand outside the car while u pull in and out of ur driveway so they can hear it from the outside, maybe pinpoint it better? good luck!

My clunk sound in the rear turned out to be my Torque boxes. The upper controls arm I installed from hotchkis were too stiff (poly bushings too hard) and was flexing them. I replaced them with FRPP Uppers (rubber bushing 50% stiffer than stock) and now she's quiet with little lateral movement and no wheel hop. I left the lower arms w/poly bushings on.
