Default Strange creaking/grindin noise turning at low speeds

Recently I have developed a creaking or kinda grinding noise when turning to the left at low speeds. It only happens when turning left. It is loudest at about 5 mph like when turning left in a parking lot. It becomes less pronounced as speeds increase. It began to develop shortly after my clutch install. Though there is no real evidence they are related. Any Idea as to what this could be? :sad11:

Your sig says you run eibachs, but you haven't changed anything else in the suspension have you?

It could be a strut or a tie rod end...how many miles do you have?

64k on the car, 11k with the pro-kit. No other mods to the suspension.

I have the same problem. It comes from the rear. I still haven't found it and I have made at least a few posts about it. As soon as I find out what it is, I'll let ya'll know. lol

Mine has a touch of a whine when I turn right at speed. I just put up with it. It's hard to hear over my exhaust anyway

That could be a million things. I would check all your rubber bushings and make sure your breaks are good too.

Mine was making a creak in the steering like described. Took it to ford, and they said the bolts on the steering rack were loose. A few months later it started up again, went to ford, and got my steering rack replaced under warranty.

my suspension was stock at the time though.

If the sound is coming from the front and when you are turning? This sounds like your hub bearings are going out. A buddy of mine had the same problem or when I heard it I had the same description as what your describing.
