Default Very Strange

A few weeks ago I installed a motoblue underdrive crank and water pump pulley in my sixer and the car hasn't skipped a beat. Then the other day I started my car and as the car warmed and the rev's dropped to normal idle, my headlights and white face gauges dimmed extemely slightly... I thought it was a little weird but whatever... Then I'm out on the road and I cranked it off a red light and after 2nd gear the car cold stalled, lost power steering and on came my battery and check engine lights.... Luckily I rolled to the next red light, turned her off and cranked her back up. She started without a hitch and ran like always after that... I tested the battery and alternator today to make sure all the volts were on target and they were...

What the hell I say?

That's a little frightening. I don't have any ideas. Stick a code reader on it and see if anything shows up. You can get some codes w/o popping a light.

well with UDPs you have less charging...I guess the alt wasn't charing enough. if it was a cold morning tranny could have been too cool, my car now I have to let it sit and warm up to actually start :\ Have you tried doing the same thing lately?

thats weird b/c my GT did the same thing tonight. but my car stalled when i came to a stop at a read light and it cut off when my fan came on. maybe my car drew too much current for a split second and stalled itself. it may of just been a freak accurance. if it happens agian then try to read those error codes
