My friends dad who is a diesel mechanic says that if i chip my gt i should get around 35 more hp but only if i get a new throttle body because of some limiter sensor or whatever. Is this true?

Well it depends on how much hp/tq you have now, if its a handheld tune or if its a custum tune, if your N/A or Forced induction. If you have a handheld tuner chip and you use the tune that is already on the chip depending if you use 87 91 or 93 octne you can get around 15- 25 hp. You will get more hp if you have forced induction than you would if you were N/A. And if you have a custom tune depending on how good the tuner is you can get a lot out of it.

figure you'll see maybe 10hp and any more than that is in all reality a bonus. the new TB isn't required for stock cars (cept termies) but you might pick up a little depending on your overall combo. Quit talking to your dad... talk to a mustang tuner.
