Out of curiosity, I looked up performance chips on ebay. There are a lot of so-called chips that claim to add up to 40 hp. Problem is, these chips go for only 3-20 dollars. I'm not totally familiar with how chips work or how they're programmed, but this sounds like a scam to me. Anyone have any thoughts?

they weren't low starting bids. a lot of them were even buy it nows. I just wondered what the catch was.

 

The posts look real professional too.. I like the blink tags and use of color. Looks like a 3 year old did the HTML.

 

my friends got a chip off ebay one saying adds 30 hp well it did this is true but after driving it in and installing it in 2 weeks the chip totally ****ed up everything in the computer and i dont know exactly wut happened but he had to pay allot of money to get w\e happened fixed
