Question Dramatically less power with A/C running?

I don't know if this is a normal thing on all mustangs, but when I have my A/C running I get a much less power level than if I had the A/C off. Is there something wrong with my car? Help pleaase...

A/C steals power. Its normal.. My car loses power when A/C is on..and my Gas mileage Goes down alot as well when its on..therefor...I dont even use my A/C.

Completely normal for cars to do that though. It takes a good bit of power to run that condenser...
I notice it but rarely use it, much prefer the windows down!

As of now, I just say "Either you put up w/ the windows or the loud clicking noise that the AC makes." Usually they chose the first choice.

haha

maybe this is your solution. get a big cam so your car dies, and then when the girl asks for the a/c, tell her you cant.

I hardly notice the load on my GT. But I use the hell outta my AC. Its too damn hot down here in Mississippi not to run it. Plus those damn leather seats dont help out at all when ya get in there after its sat in the sun for hours. I got 3rd degree burns on my legs last summer from that chit!
